About WoodX Construction
Built on Experience. Driven by Craftsmanship.
WoodX Construction is a family-owned Florida construction company built on more than two decades of hands-on industry experience.
Originally from Brazil, founder Vitor Grecco moved to Florida in 2001 and began his construction career working directly in the field. His early experience included paver installation, tile, and flooring.
Driven by a desire to expand his knowledge and craftsmanship, Vitor later transitioned into architectural carpentry, where he developed the precision and attention to detail required for increasingly complex projects.
In February 2010, Vitor founded WoodX Corp., turning years of practical field experience into his own construction business. As the company grew, so did the size, complexity, and reach of its projects.
Over the years, Vitor and his teams have contributed architectural carpentry and high-end finish installations to commercial and luxury retail build-outs across several states, including Florida, Texas, Arizona, California, and Illinois. These demanding environments helped shape the company’s commitment to precision, organization, craftsmanship, and exceptional attention to detail.
Through years of working in the field, coordinating teams and subcontractors, managing project requirements, and solving construction challenges, Vitor developed extensive knowledge of both the technical and management sides of the industry.
As Vitor’s career progressed, he intentionally expanded his experience beyond specialty trades and finish work to gain the broader construction experience required to become a licensed contractor in Florida. Working alongside and under the supervision of licensed contractors, he gained valuable experience supervising projects, coordinating subcontractors and different trades, managing jobsite requirements, and overseeing construction from a contractor’s perspective. Florida’s contractor licensing process requires applicants to demonstrate qualifying construction experience in addition to successfully completing the required state examinations. This experience became an important part of Vitor’s path toward earning his Florida Certified Building Contractor license.
Always committed to expanding his expertise, Vitor pursued and earned his Florida Certified Building Contractor license. Today, he combines more than 25 years of hands-on construction experience with the qualifications and project-management capabilities required to oversee projects from planning through completion.
WoodX Construction LLC represents the continued evolution of the construction business Vitor established in 2010. Although the company’s legal structure has evolved, the experience, craftsmanship, professional relationships, and values behind the WoodX name have been built over many years.
